Dear friends

It is with a lot of pain in our heart and with a very sad feeling that I have to announce the disease of Olivier De Brouwer – senior manager at Polytra.

Olivier passed away last night after a short stay in the clinic following some heart pains at 79 years old.

I can’t emphasize enough how much he will be missed and the gratitude and respect we – as Polytra and Fracht – have for all he has done and achieved.

Olivier has been with Polytra since the beginning and has been a real ambassador for Polytra. He was key in the integration of Polytra into the Fracht Group and even guided Mr Reisdorf through DRC.  

Moreover Olivier was active as leading member in the African and Arabic Chamber of commerce and often consulted for his diplomatic expertise.

His knowledge, expertise and experience was widely recognized – appreciated and especially respected.

His optimism, enthusiasm and humor will be missed.

He was fore sure a real example and it was an honor to have worked with him.
