Holidays in the Middle East in 2015

Dear colleagues,

As the holidays in the Middle East are always changing each year, we would already
like to give you a pre-advice, when they will be in 2015, that you can plan your
shipments / ask your customer to possibly plan his shipments „around these days“.

As always, it must be noted that public holidays in the UAE are subject to the lunar
calendar and Government directives. This means that the dates are provisional and
confirmation of the actual days recognised as holidays by Etihad Airways will be
provided closer to the time. Please bear this in mind when booking cargos. The
anticipated holidays for 2015 are:

Isra’a Wal Miraj*: Sunday, May 17;

End of Ramadan / Eid Al Fitr*: Sunday, July 19 and Monday, July 20; (the fasting
period of Ramadan starts end of June)

Arafat Day/Eid Al Adha*: Wednesday, September 23, Thursday, September 24
Sunday, September 27;

Hijri New Year’s Day*: Tuesday, October 13; and
UAE National Day: Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3.

Dates marked above with an asterix indicate an Islamic holiday. The exact days of the
holiday are subject to a moon sighting and may differ from the date indicated.

with best regards / mit freundlichen Grüßen
