Dear Clients, Partners and Friends,

You might be aware that since a couple of days massive demonstrations and riots are ongoing all over Central and South Iraq. The Kurdish Region (KRG regions) is not effected.

Particular in Baghdad, Basra, Nasiriya, Najaf, Kut, Amara and other larger cities demonstrations are going on daily and some of them are violent. Various clashes with the security authorities took place. Demonstrators looted public and governmental building, burned trucks and parked cars.

For security reasons the Iraqi government declared curfews. Internet and cell phone services are disrupted. The airports of Baghdad are temporarily closed, Basra Airport as well as Umm Qassr seaports are partly working. However, due to the disrupted internet, delays in the operation occur.

With regard to the current situation, deliveries within Central and South Iraq are seriously disrupted. We stopped the service to certain destinations until further notice. If your deliveries are effected, we will contact you on a case-to-case basis.

Markus Raab
